The Birth-rates in the sub-districts were as follows:—Upper
Holloway, 29.5 per 1,000; Islington, South-West, 31.9; Islington
South-East, 28.9; and Highbury, 25.6.
In the annexed table are given the Birth-rates since 1871, and it
will be noticed that the Birth-rate in the year 1892 was lower than in
any period since 1871.
