THE SLAUGHTER AND COW-HOUSES IN ISLINGTON, 1892.
At the Annual Licensing in October, 1892, there were 62
applications for the renewal of licenses to Slaughter-houses, all of
which were granted.
For the renewal of licenses to Cow-houses, 31 applications were
made, and all were granted.
The annual inspection of these places, prior to the licensing,
proved them to be generally in a satisfactory condition.
Some defects were, however, noticed, but they were not considered
of a nature that would justify me in recommending the Vestry to
oppose the renewal of the licenses.
