PARISH CHURCHYARD, VICARAGE AND MISSION HALL.
The parish churchyard is also maintained as an open space under
and pursuant to the Open Spaces Act, 1881, but is placed under the
control of the Churchwardens.
In March, 1889, a letter was received from the Vicar intimating
that a picce of land had been secured on the north side of the parish
churchyard for the erection of a suitable Vicarage and Mission
Buildings, and asking the Vestry's consent to the formation of a path
across the grounds so as to give access to the proposed Mission Hall.

Vicar is also maintained as an open space under the control of the
Churchwardens, but at the expense of the Vestry.

and erect iron railings in lieu thereof at an estimated cost of £580
than to repair and rebuild the wall where necessary which it was
estimated would cost £251.
The Committee accordingly recommended the Vestry to ask the
senior Churchwarden to invite tenders for taking down the wall in
question, for erecting new iron railings in lieu thereof, and for carrying
out such other works in connection therewith as might be necessary.
The recommendation of the Committee was adopted by the Vestry.
In February last a resolution was passed by the Vestry directing
the Vestry Clerk, subject to the consent of the Vicar being first
obtained, to apply to the Home Secretary for an order entirely
closing the Chapel-of-Ease grounds for the purpose of burial, and
