Permission was also given for the following trade
lamps to bo fixed—
"Red Lion" Public House, Rosoman Street,
3 hanging taper lamps.
"Union Tavern,"King's Gross Road, 3 hanging
taper lamps.
The total number of public lamps in the Parish
at Lady-day, 1896, was 913. These lamps consist
of:—
765 square lanterns, with 5 ft. burners.
97 circular top lanterns, with 5 ft. burners.
2 lanterns, with 5 ft. burners, on Churchyard.

18 „ „ 8 ft. „
1 „ „ 10 ft. „
4 „ „ 12 ft. „
4 „ „ 15 ft. „
1 „ „ 16 ft. „
5 „ „ 24 ft. „
4 „ „ 30 ft. „
1 „ „ 36 ft. „
And 2 lanterns in Kiosk, Clerkenwell Green.
The amount incurred for lighting, cleaning, and
glazing, including gas, was £3,051 17s. 9d., and for
new lanterns, lamp columns, and general repairs,
£447 10s. 3d..
The total number of lamps at Muswell Hill is
19 ; the cost for lighting and gas being £58 11s. 8d
Total, £3,557 19s. 8d.
The amount charged for damages to public lamps
was £24 4s. 6d,
