Of this, however, a large proportion must bo considered of the
nature of capital expenditure. The four additional horses and
vans, the provision of the new stable, and the Spencer Place
shod account together for over £650. Of the other items, the
most noticeable are the increase in the fodder account of £225,
and in the wages account £545, the latter being partly due to the
additional men engaged for the additional horses, but principally
to the increase of wages voted to the dustmen and carmen in
January, 1892.
Tho following is a Statoment of Stock on the 25th March,
with the Committee's estimate of tho value of same, a Wharf
Committee having visited the Wharf for tho purpose on the 7th
April last.
