To the Vestry of the Parish of St. James and St.
John, Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
I beg respectfully to report that during
the quarter ending September 30th, I purchased
and submitted to the Analyst the following
Articles:—14 milk, 2 coffee, 1 cocoa, 1 pepper, 1
rum, 1 butter.
C 113. J. Martin, 67, Winchester Street, selling
milk adulterated with 36 per cent. of added water.
Fined '20s., 2s. costs.
C 116. Daniel Hall, 307, Liverpool Road, selling
milk adulterated with 13 per cent. of added water.
Dismissed.
C 120. Mr. Watts, 94, King's Cross Road,
selling coffee adulterated with 25 per cent. chicory.
Fined 10s., 2s. costs.
C 125. W. Wood, 42, Penton Street, selling
coffee adulterated 45 per cent. chicory. Fined 10s.
2s. costs.
