To the Vestry of the Parish of St. James and St.
John, Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
I beg respectfully to report that during
the quarter ending June 30th, 1888, I purchased
and submitted to the Analyst, the following
Articles:—6 milk, 2 mustard, 2 pepper, 3 coffee,
3 butter, 1 lard, 1 cocoa.
C 99. Jane Newman, 2b, King's Cross Road,
for selling mustard adulterated with 10 per cent.
of flour and turmeric. Fined 1s., 2s. costs.
C 101. W. Elton, 81, Rosoman Street, for
selling "margarine" unlabelled. Fined 20s., 2s.
costs.
C 102. W. Elton, for selling coffee with 15 per
cent. of chicory. Fined 20s., 2s. costs.
C 108. G. Kowin, 46, Penton Street, selling
"margarine" unlabelled. Fined 20s., 2s. costs.
