OF
MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH,
FOR 1384.
To the Vestry of St. James and St. John, Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
I have the honor of laying before you my 29th
Annual Report, viz.:—That for the year 1884.
The number of deaths occurring from all causes in Clerkenwell,
during the year 1884, was 1303. The annual average for the
last 10 years was 1332, so that the deaths were 29 less than the
average. The deaths in 1883 having been 1172, those in 1884
were 131 mure than in the preceding: year.
The accompanying table exhibits the number of deaths which
have taken place in the Parish in each of the last 10 years, the
births in each year being placed opposite: —
