A 4ft. × 2 ft. 6 in. Brick Sower 320 ft. long was
constructed, in Berkley Street, and connected with
the existing Hewers in St. John's Lane and Red
Lion Street. An 18 inch Sewer pipe GOO feet
long was constructed in Penton Place, and connected
with the Fleet Sewer in King's Cross Road, and
280 feet of 12 in. pipe Sewer in Eagle Court connected
with Sewer in St. John's Lane.
40 foot of 9 inch pipe Sewer was laid in Prospect
Row from Henry Street Sewer.
HOUSE DRAINAGE.
The total number of premises drained were 69, the
details of which drainage is shewn upon 53 plans
prepared for that purpose and deposited in the
Surveyor's Office, these drains consist of 1 15-inch,
1 12-inch, 12 9-inch, and 34 6-inch. Three old drains
were trapped.

Carriageways.—The carriageway of part of Brunswiok
Close wus paved with Val de Travers Compressed
Asphalto
FOOTWAYS.
Garnault Place, Green Terrace (West side), Eliza
Place, East side of Rosoman Street between Hardwick
Street and Amwell Street, and Amwell Stroet from
Margaret Street to Baker Street, wero relaid, and the
deficiency partly made good with the old York from
