MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH,
FOR 1883.
To the Vestry of St. James and St. John, Clerkenwell.
Gentlemen,
I have the honor of laying before you my 28th
Annual Report, viz.:—That for the year 1883.
The number of deaths occurring from all causes in Clerkenwell,
during the year 1883, was 1172. The annual average for the
last 10 years was 1344, so that the deaths were 172 less than the
average. The deaths in 1882 having been 1261, those in 1883
were 89 less than in the preceding year.
