HOUSE DRAINAGE.
The total number of premises drained were 76, the
detail of which drainage is shewn upon 52 Plans
prepared for that purpose, and deposited in the Surveyor's
Office; these drains consist of 2 12-inch, 6
9-inch and 45 6-inch drains. Eleven old drains were
trapped.
PAVEMENTS.
Carriageways.—The Carriageway of Pentonville
Road between High Street and Penton Street and part
of King's Cross Road, near to the "Union" Tavern,
were laid with New Aberdeen Granite.
With dressed Stone.—Part of King's Cross Road
(between the new work and No. 42 ), Great Bath
Street, Little Bath Street, Clerkenwell Green, Little
Northampton Street, and St. John's Square.
Footways.—The Footways on both sides of Pentonville
Road between High Street and Penton Street
were laid with Patent Victoria Stone.
The footway on the East side of King's Cross Road
between Wharton Street and Baker Street, was taken
up and relaid, as were also considerable portions of the
footways of Clerkenwell Green, and Little Northampton
Street, and St. John's Square.
