In December the twelfth maintenance treatment of the Corporation's sewer system was carried out as follows:—

Normally in each December annual test baiting of the Corporation's sewers is carried out, but in
view of the small number of "takes" of poison bait recorded in the recent maintenance treatments, the
Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries agreed that this work again be postponed until the summer
months.
