Of the total new cases 25 are resident in new
houses and 35 in old.
At the commencement of the year there were
116 cases of Tuberculosis ou the register and at the
close of the year the figure was 123. During the
year 53 cases were removed from the register owing
to recovery, leaving the district or death, and 60
new cases were added to the register. Of the 60
new cases it is interesting to note that only 38 of
these were new eases first notified in this district
and that 18 were cases of persons coming to reside
in the area.
