During the year 355 deaths were registered,
being a decrease of 3 on the previous year. 227
deaths occurred in the district, 125 deaths in Public
Institutions outside the district, and 23 deaths in
other premises outside the district.
The outstanding increase in the causes of death
is that accounted for by Heart Disease and a very
considerable fall in death due to Influenza.
There were two deaths of infants under two
years due to Diarrhoea.
Death Rate for Surbiton is 9.14.
