Eighty cases of Scarlet Fever were notified in
the Borough of which 77 were sent to Isolation
Hospital and 3 nursed at home. The three nursed
at home were properly isolated and all necessary
precautions taken to the satisfaction of the Medical
Officer of Health.
One death from this disease occurred.

In all, 21 cases of Diphtheria were notified
and admitted to the Isolation Hospital. Of these
15 were discharged " Not Diphtheria," leaving only
6 cases.
