Small Pox,
The fear expressed in my report of last year that there was
every probability of the small pox epidemic of London assuming
more serious proportions in the following spring was verified,
and that owing to the number of persons travelling to and from
the Metropolis daily, this would probably be the means of introducing
the disease in Wimbledon. Such was the case, and notifications
with respect to 9 persons were received.
