undertaking a crusade of proselytism, exert a potent influence for
good upon many, in their respective constituencies, who are either
ignorant or indifferent.
Under the new Act, the Local Government Board will undertake.
the supply of calf lymph. It is not yet evident what arrangements,
will be made for the distribution of this lymph to local authorities.
Doubtless, the several Public Vaccinators will be efficiently
supplied, but it is to be hoped that Medical Officers of Health;
will also be enabled to keep a supply for distribution to casual
claimants, the Public Vaccinator not being at all times available,,
while the office of the Medical Officer of Health is easily reached
and constantly attended during business hours.
