Further details of the work carried out by your Inspectors,
are described in the special report of the Medical Officer of
Health to the Secretary of State, and is Contained in the first
part of this report.
Outworkers' Premises.
Five lists from employers were received during the year.
The addresses of the workers in the Borough were visited and
the premises inspected. All were found in a satisfactory condition.
The names and addresses of persons living outside
the district but employed by Contractors in the Borough were
forwarded to the Medical Officers of Health of the respective
districts.
Trade Premises.
Included under this heading are the:—
(a) Dairies, Cowsheds and Milkshops.
(b) Slaughterhouses.
(c) Fried Fish Shops.
(d) Shops—re food supplies.
All the premises recorded in the registers have been
periodically inspected during the year, and any matters found
requiring attention were promptly dealt with.
Further particulars of the inspections made, together with
a list of the defects and nuisances dealt with are enumerated
in the summary at the end of this report.
