Mr. Jerram, your Surveyor, exercises supervision over the
new buildings. He informs me that he has given 80 certificates
for habitation. New buildings erected have been : 106 in 1912,
115 in 1911, 143 in 1910, 144 in 1909, and 222 in 1908.
Roads Made Up.—Manor Gardens and High Path (part).
Workshops and Work Places.—The information required
by the Home Office is appended.
SANITARY ADMINISTRATION OF THE DISTRICT.
Staff.—Owing to the increased work in the District due
to its growth, and the new duties imposed by Parliament, and
various Orders of the Board, the Council appointed Mr.
Thick, your Assistant Sanitary Inspector. He assumed his duties
in August, and has performed his work in an efficient manner.
Hospital Accommodation is available for Scarlet Fever,
Diphtheria, Enteric, Erysipelas, and Small-Pox. We have
been able to send all the required cases to Beddington Corner
