DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE.
Combined Drains.
Combined drains have been dealt with on the following properties:—
New Maiden.
Cleveland Road, Nos. 70 and 72, premises entirely redrained,
contribution by the Council.
Grafton Road, Nos. 35 to 53 (partly relaid) a contribution made
by the Council.
Drainage.
During the year 309 drains were tested, 168 were found defective,
143 drains were relaid, and 27 drains were repaired.
In two cases it was necessary to provide new connections to the
Council's soil sewer.
