MEASLES.
One hundred and eighty-six cases were notified, two in Old
Maiden, fifteen in Coombe, and one hundred and sixty-nine in New
Maiden. The death rate of Measles is very low, due to the
notification of this disease.

One hundred cases occurred in Public Schools, fifty-three
occurring in Lime Grove Schools.
Sixteen cases occurred, in Private Schools.
Eighty were under five years of age and did not attend school.
Six were adults.
Two deaths were registered
SCARLET FEVER.
Fifty-four cases were notified during the year, two cases were,
however, subsequently found to have been mistaken in diagnosis.
