The number of households affected with Scarlet Fever was 95.
Fifteen cases occurred in public institutions in the district.
The following statement shews the occurrence of secondary and
return cases in those hospital and home-treated respectively:—

The prevalence of the disease was greatest in February and
during September and October.
The disease continues to be of a mild type, only one death
having taken place from this cause during the year.

The following table shews the number of notifications
received, and the percentage of cases of Diphtheria removed to
Hospital during the past 14 years:—
