83 inquests were 'held, 55 dearths being attributed to violence.
INFANTILE MORTALITY.
154 deaths of infants under 1 year of age occurred in the
Borough, giving a rate of 69 per 1,000 births registered as compared
with 85 per 1,000 in 1917.
