ZYMOTIC MOHTALITY.
110 deaths were attributed to the principal Zymotic diseases,
as against 129 in 1912. This equals a mortality rate of 0.77 per
1,000 of population. It should be noted that this figure includes
62 deaths from "Diarrhoeal Diseases," such as Infective
Enteritis, Diarrhoea not infective, Enteritis, Gastro-Enteritis,
Dyspepsia in children under two years of age, Colic, Ulceration
of intestines, and Duodenal Ulcer.
