Teeth.
The percentages of decayed teeth found at routine inspection were as follows:—
1 to 2. | 3 to 4. | More than 4. | |

Boys | 25.7 | 20.7 | 8.9 |
Girls | 26.4 | 19.5 | 9.3 |
These figures are in the majority of cases higher than the
corresponding ones for 1912.
The scheme for dental treatment outlined in my report for
1912 has been in operation since the end of January, 1913. It
makes provision for the routine examination and treatment of
children aged 6 to 8 years.
