Illegitimate Births.
Eighty.three of these were registered, and of these 43 were
males and 40 females, which represents 2'3 per cent, of the total
births. There were 15 deaths. The death.rate of these illegitimate
infants under one year was equal to 181 per 1,000 births
registered, whilst the rate for legitimate was GO per 1,000.
