HEIGHT AND WEIGHT.
In the following Tables the height and weight of the
children examined is compared with the Standard of the
Anthropological Society.
The height and weight are both taken with the boots off.
The weight of a child is a guide to its general condition:—

It will be noticed that the height of East Ham children
compares favourably with the Standard of the Anthropological
Society.
