To assist in fhe work the Teachers have been asked to
weigh and measure the children, thus saving a considerable
amount of time for the Nurse. The Head Teacher is generally
present when the examination takes place and can give the
Medical Inspector information concerning the mental capacity
and habits of the child. In addition to this the Teacher assists
in preparing the children for examination, also in sending out
notices and forms to the parents.
Before dealing with the year's work on Medical Inspection,
particulars concerning accommodation and school buildings are
given :—
