Bronchitis and more especially Broncho-Pneumonia, so that if
by care infection can be prevented until after 5 years of age
the chance of recovery is greater.
MUMPS.
No deaths were recorded from this disease. 224 cases
were reported by the School Teachers, chiefly during the early
part of the year.
MALIGNANT DISEASE.
93 deaths were registered (including 7 from Sarcoma) as
due to various forms of Cancer, compared with 102 during the
previous year.
