SMALL POX.
No case has occurred in the Borough for the past six
years.
SCARLET FEVER.
329 cases were notified during the year as compared with
576 cases during 1909. This disease diminished both in
number and severity of attack.
In some cases there was a doubt until desquamation
occurred, and it is these cases that are so liable to spread the
disease. The number of deaths from Scarlet Fever being only
three, gives a death.rate of 0 9 per cent, as compared with 2.6
per cent, for the previous year.
