WARDS.

Enteric.Diphtheria.Scarlet Fever.
Sisters111
Staff Nurses223
Probationers336
Ward Maids112

The following were the principal alterations in the senior
Staff during the year:—
Miss May, who was Sister-in-Charge of the Enteric Ward,
was transferred to Rancliffe House Convalescent Home to take
the place of Miss Bartlett, who resigned. Miss Campbell,
Sister-in-Charge of the Diphtheria Ward, also resigned. The
vacancies in the above two Wards have been filled by the appointment
of Miss King and Miss Munro, respectively. Both these
ladies are fully trained nurses from the London Hospital, and in
securing their services the Corporation have obtained officers of
exceptional merit and ability.
I should like to take this opportunity of recording the very
willing and ungrudging service given at all times by every
member of the Staff during a year of exceptionally heavy work.
