A new Mortuary in a central position in the Borough is still
needed.
At the Sewage Works, a Bacterial Filter Bed, formed of
clinker from the Refuse Destructor, has been provided, and is
working satisfactorily, the effluent being much improved in
character.
The new Building Bye-laws still await the sanction of the
Local Government Board.
