DISINFECTION.
1,591 houses were disinfected during the year, the method
adopted being a Solution of Formalin, applied by means of a
spray.
A steam disinfector has been installed during the year. This
is a large size " Thresh " Disinfector, it is situated at the Hospital,
and is work d by steam obtained from the laundry boiler.
This will enable a more thorough disinfection of bedding,
etc., to be made than has hitherto been practicable.
