As the result of notices issued under the Public Health Acts the undermentioned works have been carried out during the year:—

1. Arrangements for Prevention of the Contamination of the Water Supply. Defects found:—
Water cisterns defective3

Houses without water supply, through defective supply pipes11
2. Closet Accommodation. Defects found:—

J. Drainage. Defects found:—
Drains in leaky condition13

Rain water pipes acting as ventilators to the drain, disconnected and made to discharge over properly trapped gullies7
