any more on his farm, arrangements were made to
dispose of it upon the Council's Irrigation Farm, the
tins and old iron being sold to a purchaser, who collects
them on the refuse heap.
Fire Brigade.—The members of this Brigade
are retained, and comprise 18 officers and men, 4 of
whom are resident at Brunswick Park, in the extreme
south of the district.
There are alarm posts at important points in the
district, and during the year cards indicating the nearest
alarm posts were delivered at every house.
