HOARDING LICENSES.
For pulling down, reconstructing, repairing and alterations
to and shoring up buildings, paving crossings, etc., forty-six
Licenses have been granted, Where the public carriageways
and footways have been disturbed the cost of reinstating same
have been borne by the respective persons holding Licenses.
The following is a list of the works executed in this District
for which Licences have been obtained:—
Amount of deposits paid to the Board for same, £120 4s. 8d.
As in the preceding year, no Licenses have been taken out
under this Act.
There are 571 Public Lamps in the District, nine of these
being meter lamps, which are placed at large open spaces,
crossings, etc.
