An agreement has been entered into with the St. Olave

is situate, to apportion the rents as follows:-
St. Saviour's District
£668
St. Olave's District
£72
£740
The proportion observed being the same as that of the rent
charge of £22, which formerly subsisted upon the Arches and
which lapsed when the fee simple reverted to the local authorities.
GUY'S BURIAL GROUND.
In October, 1893, a deputation attended from the Vestry of
Bermondsey to ask the Board to contribute towards the cost of
purchasing a piece of land situate in Bermondsey, known as
Guy's Burial Ground, and of dedicating the same to public uses
as a recreation ground. The application was referred to the
Paving and General Purposes Committee for consideration, who,
alter careful inquiry, reported that, in their opinion, the advantages
to be derived from the dedication of the land as proposed,
were purely of a local character, such as the St. Saviour's
District could not participate in, and therefore the Board would
not be justified in contributing towards the cost. The Board
concurred and declined to accede to the application.
