LICENCES.
41 Licences (not including renewals) have been granted fa
hoardings and scaffolds for the purpose of pulling down, re-building
and alterations, &c. Licences have also been granted, in 18 cases
to take up pavements for repairing rain water pipes, connections tc
sewers, and other similar purposes. The cost of making good these
openings is charged to the person taking out the Licence.
