The sewers in the Strand, Duncannon Street, Adelaide Street, Charles Street and a portion of Whitcomb Street, have been cleansed and any deposit removed, and the pipe sewers frequently flushed with water through an open hose, at a cost of £213 6s. 3d., being—

CONNECTIONS TO SEWERS.
Twenty-five new connections of house drains to the sewers and
fourteen examinations of the sewers have been made by the Vestry
at the owners' cost.
REPAIRING GULLIES.
Two new gullies, and three new sewer ventilators have been
placed in the Strand.
