SURVEYOR'S ANNUAL REPORT.
Vestry Hall,
June, 1890.
TO THE CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS OF THE VESTRY OF
ST. MARTIN-IN-THE-FIELDS.
Gentlemen,
I beg to report as follows upon the amount of work
executed in the Surveyor's Department during the year ending
March 25th, 1890.
Having been so recently appointed to my present position, in
succession to your late Surveyor, Mr. Henry Jacques, I naturally
have had to rely upon statistics collected from the various books
and documents in the office, more than on my own personal
experience of the works executed.
I have based my Report on the model of those previously submitted
for your consideration by my predecessor, this Report
embracing the work done under his jurisdiction during the twentyfifth
year of his service.
