DEATHS OF MEMBERS OF THE VESTRY.
Mr. Edward White died on the 25th April, on the 29th
May the decease of Mr. F. L. West was reported, and Mr.
C. C. Eames died on the 4th December, 1884. Letters
expressive of sympathy and condolence with the bereaved
families were in all cases forwarded.
RETIREMENT OF A MEMBER OF THE VESTRY.
On the 2nd October, 1884, the Clerk reported that Mr. C.
J. Skeet having- ceased to be a rated occupier in the parish,
his office of Vestryman was thereby vacated.
VESTRY ELECTIONS.
The Annual Elections of the Vestry for Wards Nos. 1
and 2 took place on the 5th May, 1884. With regard to
No. 3 Ward, a poll having been demanded, the Elections
took place on the day following.
PUBLIC BATHS AND WASH-HOUSES.
Messrs. Geo. James, Thos. Hill, and Jas. Johnston were,
on the 15th May, 1884, elected Commissioners of the above
for the usual term of three years, and on the 22nd January,
1885, Mr. David Laing was elected in the place of Mr. C. C„
Eames, deceased.
ARCHBISHOP TENISON'S SCHOOL.
On the 15th May, 1884, Mr. Charles Chambers Eames
(subsequently deceased) was elected a representative Governor
of the above School for the usual term of three years.

A statement of the above Rates made by the Vestry for the last 10 years is hereunder shown.
