Note.—The General Rate includes the amount required by the
School Board for London to meet their Precept, which was at the rate
of 8½d. in the £., and the Sewers Rate is inclusive of the amount
required by the Metropolitan Board of Works under their Precept,
which was at the rate of 6¾d. in the £.
METROPOLITAN BOARD OF WORKS.
Mr. W. II. Dalton, representative of the parish at the
above Board, died on the 20th June, 1884, and on the 26th
June, the Yestry passed a resolution expressive of
sympathy with Mrs. Dalton and her family.
On the 17th July, 1884:, Mr. George James was elected
in the place of the late Mr. Dalton for the remainder of the
time unexpired of the deceased gentleman's term of office.
CHURCHWARDENS AND SIDESMEN.
On the 17th April, 1884, Mr. Francis John Barron and
Captain Clifford Probjm were respectively elected Senior
and Junior Churchwardens, and Messrs. William Challice,
John Francis Arnold, Thomas Hill, and Robert Stokes were
subsequently elected Sidesmen.
