WATERWORKS COMPANIES' CHARGES.
In reply to communications addressed to them by the
Vestry calling attention to the decision in the case of Dobbs
v. Grand Junction Waterworks Company, the Chelsea Waterworks
Company have stated that they have determined to
make their charges on the net value of each house, and
that in all cases where the parochial net value agreed
reasonably with the real value, the Company would adopt
the valuation of the Vestry. The New River Company
simply replied that it was their intention to regulate their
charges strictly according to law.

thanks to the Vicar for his generous donation was passed
