per annum, a saving to the ratepayers of £800. In addition to
the work carried out by Mr. Mead, Mr. Covington has also to
remove the gully slop and sewer deposit, and provide the men to
sweep behind the slop carts. This will effect a further saving of
£350, or altogether a total of £1,150.
