Parish of St. George the Martyr, Southwark.
Also a lamp standard and safety crossing Borough High St???
near St. George's Church, between Great Dover Street and Marsha???
Road. In this case also it would be necessary for the tram???y
company to modify their lines.
In both cases the sanctuaries are much needed for the safe???
foot-passengers.
.
With reference to the nuisance of the Borough Road Railway
H
Bridge I am of opinion that it would be desirable to apply to???
London County Council to assist the Vestry in endeavouring to co???
the Company to abate the nuisance, as it is a matter that not???
affects the Parish but the metropolis generally.
With reference to the trees the work directed to be done by???
Tree and Open Spaces Committee has resulted satisfactorily, as???
deaths have been only 24 as compared with 84 in the preceding ye???
On the termination of the Contract with Mr. Ponsfor???
December next, I would respectfully suggest that a gardener???
employed by the Vestry to undertake the whole of the work???
preference to entering into another contract.
