ANNUAL REPORT,
For the Year ending 25th March, 1887.
R. Chairman and Gentlemen,
I have the honor to submit my Seventeenth Annual Report
our consideration.
The principal paving work carried out is the paving the
of the carriageways of St. George's Road, Lambeth Road,
hwark Bridge Road and Borough Road, which will result
. considerable saving, as the cost of maintenance of the
???dam up to the tramways has been very great, and will now
voided.
The New Street through the Mint, from Blackman Street to
??? Dover Street, has at last been completed as far as its
ation is concerned. The unnecessary delay that has characterized
carrying out of this great improvement will, I fear, be continued
reference to the opening of the same to the public, unless
action is taken by the Vestry to urge on the matter.
