Bush Road has been scored and remetalled and rolled by steam roller.
The roadways in Dilston Grove, Henwood Road, Orange Place, Neston Street, and Osprey
Street have also been repaired and rolled where necessary.
The Vestry have Resolved, under the provisions of the Metropolis Management
Amendment Act, 1890, to pave the footways in the following roads, &c.:—
Wyndhatn Road (west side) including the relaying of existing kerb;
Kinburn Street and Dodd's Place, including the relaying of existing kerb;
Rotherhithe Street, from No. 688 to beyond the Scandinavian Church, including the relaying
of the existing kerb, and the provision of a 3-course channel;
Orange Place, including the relaying of the existing kerb;
and that the work be proceeded with on payment to the Vestry of the amounts apportioned
upon the owners of the several properties fronting or abutting upon the said roads, etc.
Also Resolved—That the whole length of the roadway, Odessa Street, be taken up and
levelled, and the kerb reset.
The footway, Lower Road, between Mr. Copping's premises and Hothfield Place has been
taken up and relaid.
It has been derided to repave the footway, Lower Road, from Wells Tenements to Orange
Place, with Victoria Stone.
The Vestry have Resolved to pay the masons' labourers the Union rate of wages, viz.,
6½d. per hour.
The Vestry have Resolved—That the permanent roadmen and sewermen, during illness, be
paid half wages instead of full wages as hitherto, for a period of not exceeding 2 months, subject
to the production of a doctor's certificate to the Surveyor and under bis directions.

The following is a statement of applications made to the Vestry to drain houses and premises and the result consequent thereon:—
