Miscellaneous-
The Boundaries of this Parish were perambulated on the 18th May, 1871, (Holy
Thursday) by the Churchwardens, Overseers, Vestrymen, and Inhabitants, when
directions were given for the removal of encroachments from Rights of Way, and the
placing of new boundary plates and stones where required.
The Metropolitan Drinking Fountain, and Cattle Trough Association having
offered to defray the cost of erecting and maintaining a Fountain and Trough in this
Parish, their offer was accepted by the Vestry, and the Fountain and Trough has been
erected at the entrance to Coburg Street, by the side of the Drill Shed, Deptford
Lower Road.
The Valuation (Metropolis) Act, 1869
Under the provisions of the above mentioned Act, the total assessment of
properties in this Parish has been raised during the past year from Gross £174,282
rateable £134,830 10s., to Gross £179,352 10s., rateable £138,709.

The account I have to render vou of the condition of the Parish, so far as it
respects my department of duty, for the year ending March 3l6t, 1872, is on the
whole satisfactory.
