ELEVENTH GENERAL REPORT
OF THE
Vestry of the Parish of Rotherhithe,
SURREY,
FOR THE YEAR ENDING 25th MARCH.
1867.
During the past year the Vestry has held twenty-four General and Special Meetings,
and thirty Committee Meetings.
Sewers Works.
The lengths of drains and sewers laid by the Vestry to Lady-day, are:—
6-inch pipe drain 228 feet

Total 2192 „
Thirty-five road-gulleys, thirty-seven gratings, sixty-four drain mouths and junctions to
Sewers, and one side entrance, have been formed and constructed.
Ninety-nine applications have been made to drain houses into sewers, including notices
of intended new buildings, and plans checked and approved, comprising about 266 houses and
premises, 235 of which have been properly drained and completed, and 31 are in progress.
About forty cesspools have been done away with.
