In the public Institutions in the parish there were
149 deaths, viz., 13 in the Workhouse, 40 in the Paddington
Infirmary, 1 in the Lock Hospital, and 95 in
St. Mary's Hospital.
The 13 deaths in the Workhouse—6 males and 7
females—and the 40 deaths in the Paddington Infirmary—23
males and 17 females—being regarded as
those of parishioners, are included in the 449 deaths
in St. Mary's Sub-district. 71 of the deaths in St.
Mary's Hospital were of non-parishioners, as was also
